Application Instructions
To streamline submission, make sure you have the following:
Student Information Page, Student Activities Page, Student’s Personal Statement, Additional Materials (Part A)
Two Letters of Recommendation (Part B & C)
A copy of the Student's Transcript (unofficial is acceptable) (not printed from the student portal) [Part D]
Submissions of Application: Submit your entire application on Google Forms, making sure that you have all the necessary application materials in PDF format, with the correct naming convention for each file, ready to upload when prompted.
The Student Information Page, Student Activities Page, Student’s Personal Statement, and Additional Materials are on ONE a Google Document. You can fill out the form on your computer then save as a PDF for submittal. You must submit the form electronically via the Google Form link provided. HANDWRITTEN COPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Next Steps: All qualified applicants may be contacted for a virtual or face-to-face interview. Some of our sponsors may not opt for an interview but will be a paper-screen only.
ALL applications will be carefully screened by each sponsor in order to determine a scholarship recipient.
If you do not follow the naming convention for the file or any instructions for the application process, your application may be disqualified from further consideration.
HELPFUL HINTS FOR THE APPLICANT
The school transcript submitted with your application should be an unofficial copy (Not a screenshot of Aeries). You will NEED to contact your counselor so plan accordingly.
Two (2) Letters of Recommendation The form (https://tinyurl.com/aaglorcopy) is provided for convenience only. A letter may be submitted, as long as it contains appropriate letterhead. All letters should be signed and dated by the recommender. Start asking for these early, so that the individual has sufficient time to write the best letter for you.
Your cumulative, NON-WEIGHTED G.P.A., should be exactly as it appears on your transcript.
Add any additional essays or requirements specific to the scholarships for which you are applying. If a particular scholarship requests an additional essay, include the scholarship name as the heading. All components need to be present for your application to be considered by the sponsor.
